Go and Serve

June 11th, Thursday, 5:09pm:We are in the final stretch...one house is complete with a roof! The roofing team finished this morning, and then we divided up to help at the other work sites. The men went to Cambridge to help with siding, while the girls took all the shirts to the laundry mat to clean them as a nice surprise. We finally arrived at the Rozelle site to help tear up a floor and finish the ramp and painting. We are all currently (Chris Barr is the Coolest!) washing up for dinner and the baseball game at7:05pm. Another highlight of the day was the icrecream truck that came around the neighborhood. The stududents at the Rozelle site got to have a tastey treat, while the students at the Cambridge site ran around trying to locate the icrecream truck. I am now going to attempt to get the grime-that has settled under my fingernails the past 2 days- out. We are all excited to finish our projects (especially Jeff who want to leave at 6am tomorrow) and return safetly home. -Lauren-
