Go and Serve

Wednesday, June 11th 6:31pm: As I am blogging, my stomach is growling for the chicken casserole cooking in the oven. Today was definitely the hardest so far, at least for me. Today the previous days of work were taking their toll on our muscles. The end is in sight, now as our projects are slowly being completed. The roof is pretty much finished, siding has been primed and painted, and repair jobs are getting checked off the list. A nice surprise for my group (the roofing group-Allen, Lauren, Stephenie, Shelby, Katie, Tom, Andrew) was the home owner cooking us some hotdogs in his outside grill. After lunch, we were all struggling to keep the pace from the previous days. When Jeff pulled up in his truck and trailer to take the tools, we were relieved. We swam at Rhodes College pool again, which is refreshing, got some much needed showers. At this moment we are being called into the dining hall for some much needed dinner. Devotions will follow and I am sure some good deep sleep is to follow after that. Please pray for strength. -Lauren-
